A Funny Thing Happened Last Night

Last night I couldn't sleep so I went on the book of Faces and while I was scrolling around laughing at friends' shares and such I decided to search and see who else in this world had the same name as me. Well, imagine my surprise when I came across someone  (and I know who) who stole a profile picture of me off of my crochet page, and made a fake Facebook page. So immature. And even more immature is this person has me interested in men and women. Whatever, buddy. It's all been reported to Facebook so I'm letting them handle it.

After I posted the Liberation post I realized I never in the post showed y'all  what my hair looks like after my haircut. See the attached collage.

That's all I've got for today. I hope your Monday is fabulous!

A PSA for American Facebook Users

I'm sure you all have seen the attached photo that is floating around Facebook for the past few weeks and you've thought it was awesome and hit that little share button without even looking at the link that is just above the picture.

Well, let's take a close look at that link, shall we?

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/smoking-in-vehicles

Look closely after the https://www.gov. part. It says UK. Not US. That means that law is going into effect in the UK. Not the US.

Now let me say I don't think you should ride around all day with your kids while you chain smoke. I'm not saying that at all. I also know that there are several states in the US that has that law in effect.

Then what is it that I'm saying?

Know what you're sharing before you share it so that I don't have to post a PSA about it. There are so many hoaxes being passed around on social media these days and all it does is makes the person that's sharing it look ignorant. Take a second and do a little research before you share it.There's a great website called snopes.com. Go there, look for there search box and type in a little info on what you're looking for. It will tell you if something is true or false.

Thanks and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Let this serve as my warning label

Because I didn't come with one.

I've noticed on Facebook that some people who used to comment on my posts (my personal page, that is) are no longer commenting or liking. I thought maybe they had unfriended me but I guess maybe they just used that handy unfollow feature. It's okay! I use it A LOT too.

I realize that I'm hard to handle. And there are many facets to that.

I have the mouth of a well educated sailor. And I don't save it for the ship. Along with the fact that I have the mouth of a well educated sailor, I didn't come with a filter. So if a thought comes to my head, more than likely it gets posted, four letter words and all.

I have a crude sense of humor. If it strikes me as funny, you can bet I'm gonna share it. Of course, there are some things that even I don't find funny. I am a Southern belle, after all.

I do believe that marijuana should be legalized in all states for medical and recreational purposes. I don't want to get into a heated debate here because I have came to realize after a debate on my personal Facebook that the people who are against it are misinformed. And hey, it's not like I'm saying that meth or cocaine should be legalized.

I'm a redhead. No explanation is needed for that facet.

I have tattoos. Many tattoos and have plans for many more. If you think that makes me unworthy of your time, then YOU are unworthy of mine.

Yes, I post everytime I workout. I don't care if Morpheus says that it isn't necessary. It helps keep me accountable because believe it or not I am partly a people pleaser in the fact that if I think people are watching my progress, I don't give up.

I crochet and some people have a problem with that and have even went so far as to tag me in posts, making fun of my chosen form of art. Whatever.

And the list could go on and on. Bottomline is: I am me, I am weird, I am opinionated, I am quirky, I am happy. Your opinion of me and my life does not validate me.

And speaking of weightloss, here's a progress picture:

Today was Thursday in this picture.

Happy Saturday y'all!

Facebook Page

I created a "like" page for this blog, so I'd love if you'd do me a solid and go like it. You can find it here: https://facebook.com/Caviarcornbreadblog?ref=bookmark

I post mini posts and lots of silly pictures there. I think it would be cool also to "see" just who is reading my blog posts.

Did you know there's a cult in Whitmire?

"Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be. But, before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean." Bob Marley

As I sit here tonight I'm so pissed I could explode. I try to be a good person and just when you think you're doing good, something happens or is said that just blows everything out of the water.

Should people be able to voice there opinions without being threatened? Apparently not. A few days ago my daughter who is a teenager voiced her opinion in her Facebook status about how a so called religious leader in our town should be practicing what she preaches. It got back to her and today the religious leader's husband, who is a police officer added my daughter as a friend only to post a threat on her wall. This couple leads a youth group and after the posts that these youth made on my daughter's wall I've came to the conclusion that this youth group is none other than a cult. Read the following comments from one of there members and maybe you'll agree.

Johnathan:

Once again SHut ur mouth an dont comment back cuz i will always have some1 to shut it for yOU!!!!:))))

Johnathan:

Dont worry i got a few females to handle you BELEAVE DAT

So obviously these members are brainwashed. He's cussing he's supposed to be from a Christian organization. And it's also obvious that these people tolerate this kind of behavior from there members. (and notice that he's never had a grammar or spelling lesson)

This is America and yeah we do have the freedom of speech. If the first amendment protects people who protest at funerals, then why the hell can't people speak their minds without having to worry about what other people are saying.

And the way this whole thing got started is because someone who was a friend of my daughter's repeated what had been said.

To that person who ran and told, I'd like to say this: Do you have no life or nothing better to do? Are you so bored that you have to start trouble? Are you so miserable in your own life that you have to make others around you miserable too?

I don't pretend that I'm perfect. Perfect is not a word that I associate with myself. Just because you're pretending to be a born again, holy rolling, Bible thumping, pew jumping Christian does not make you perfect. You should open that Bible that you bought for your coffee table and check out a few passages like these:

Matthew 7:5 ESV You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Luke 6:37 ESV Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.

James 4:12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
