Today was pretty normal...

I slept a little while after the older two went to school because Nick was still snoozing. Working late nights and then getting up early to get them off to school is killing me! lol

When Alex came in from school today he seemed a little down. I asked him a couple of times what was wrong but he kept saying nothing. Later he told me that a little boy had kicked him on the school bus. (He only rides it in the afternoon home. Kourtney takes him in the morning) I asked him if the bus driver saw it and he said no because it happened when the bus driver was standing outside of the bus waiting for the other kids to get on the bus. Alex is so passive and I don't want him being ran over by bullies. I don't want him starting fights either but I sure want him to stand up for himself. The kid that kicked him is the same kid that told Alex a load of lies last year that made Alex deathly afraid of thunderstorms. I'll be talking with his teacher tomorrow.

Later, Alex had a meltdown. He came into the kitchen without argument to do his homework. We did his spelling first and that went just fine but when it came time to do his reading, he turned into a different kid which led to my nerves being shattered. Such fun. But as quickly as he changed into the demonoid he snapped back and was just fine.

Kourtney is really busy with tennis right now. She really loves it. Dance for her starts on Monday so that will keep her busy too plus cosmetology. I'm so very proud of her.

Nick still isn't sleeping good at night. I'm not sure what to do anymore. His room at the other house wasn't as sound proof so tonight I turned a radio on in his room to give him that sound barrier. It's not on very loud, just enough. Keep your fingers crossed for a restful night.

Night night!

Welcome to my life

I've been blogging about my weight loss so I decided that it might be fun to blog about my family life.

Kourtney is my 17 year old daughter. She's a junior in high school this year and just started cosmetology. I'm really proud of her.

Alex is my 7 year old. He has ADHD and is currently being medicated for it. We tried therapy and other methods over the past 3 years but none of those worked for him. Kudos to you if you don't have to medicate your child. Alex isn't in a zombie state. It's just enough to keep him manageable for school and homework in the afternoons. Don't judge me :D

Nick is about to be 18 months old on the 23rd of this month. He's loving life and learning so much everyday. It amazes me how much he's learned and how fast he's growing up.

I'm 38 and the single mom of these wonderful babies. We live in a small town and South Carolina and love it here. I make hairbows and you can check them out at Twisted Bows. I also have other things like pacifier clips and seasonal dresses and tee shirts for boys and girls. Check it out.

That's pretty much it. Hope you enjoy reading about the craziness.
